This black tasseled dress is intended as part of one of my Halloween looks but I couldn’t take seeing it hanging in my closet any longer and decided I wanted to bust it out early. As soon as I put on this epic thrift find I find myself feeling like a Vampiric Queen of Bats. I have a deep love and a resonance with Bat energy. I have a portrait of a sweet little love bat on my forearm which I love dearly. It reminds me of my connection to the unseen and the hidden beauty in how often I am misunderstood. The bat is a sacred and powerful totem animal. It finds resonance to those with keen perception abilities, who are lovers of moon magick and above all sensitives who feel like social outcasts or oddballs. By working with Bat energy you may find yourself drawn to the lunar forces and suddenly finding peace in dark places you once thought were frightening. You may find yourself deepening your connections with those that you love as bats are deeply communal creatures. You may also find that you can suddenly perceive deeper and clearer than ever before as your intuition undergoes a sonic upgrade. Though these sweet creatures are often misrepresented in popular culture, as a love witch I say they are the sweetest of little creatures.
